IP conflict with 54 inch cutter

HP Recommended
Latex 115 Print and Cut
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have just installed my HP cutter and am trying to set it up through the network. My IT department has set a static ip for use with this machine. Flexi-cut will recognize the cutter and send jobs when it is set to DHCP, but will not see it when set to static. I have tried the ip assigned by dhcp in static mode and it still will not communicate. I cannot even get a ping through the command prompt in static mode.

I thought it could be a firmware issue and am trying to update the firmware. HP cutter control will not see the cutter on either static or dhcp.

Has anyone seen this problem before? Any ideas of other steps to take?

Thanks for any advise.

Hi,  Thanks for contact with HP Support Forum.

Please correctly setup Subnet mask and same with IP series which same network. Most of time, if you setup different subnet mask it will not recognize the systems.

Please check again all setup procedure.
