Hi I am thinking of buying a wide format printer and was wondering if any of the HP wide format printers come instant ink ready.

People discussed about that

From my understanding, wide format printers can print smaller size of papers. It is unfair to charge A4 same price of A3. One day, HP may develope a way to work this out.

Regards.

Thank you for your reply, Yes I did see that post which was quite some time ago, I raised the question again as somone in the post said they were going to put peoples views across but then never came back. As a lot of time has passed since the issue was raised I was trying to find out if there had been any developments.

I would have thought it was quite a simple thing to implement as HP monitor your pages printed and ink usage therefore is easy to determine high usage against low usage.

I would like a wide format printer as i mainly print standard A4 size but on occasion really need to print A3 size, not going to be using much more ink than i already do.
