How can I Plot Landscape on a 36" wide roll with a 24"x36" drawing in Autocad  It seams to flip it to Portrate and wastes 12" of paper on the roll.

Thank you for using the HP forum.

Error : Landscape Plotting from Autocad

Problem Description: it changes to portrait

The possible cause could be: Settings issue

Corrective Action:

1. Open the file in auto cadd > ctrl +p > select printer driver > properties > custom properties > select paper size, paper source and paper type. select orientation from layout tab> click ok, come back to auto cad print screen> select window > check the preview and then plot.

2. For the issue mentioned: Make sure "Rotate by 90 degree" is not selected in the Custom properties under layout tab settings in application.

Also,

I have found that if you are using the Postscript Driver with AutoCad it will happen more.

Try using the HPGL2 Driver.

Good Luck,
