HP Designjet T520
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Project Extimator emailed me a plan (size 42 x 30) to print on plotter. The plotter is a 36" T520. So I knew it would not be wide enough so I set printer to Potrait to accomadate 42" width. It worked! I now have another to print (same size) and it WON'T work! Did I just luck up and  fool the computer once?? HELP and thank you!

If you are printing a PDF just ensure you do not have "select size based on document"

Why and what should it be on for a 42x30 plan to print on a 36" plotter.

I only have 24" model so my printer only goes to "arch D", do you have "Arch E1" as paper size in your printing setup?

HP Recommended

if not you may have to use custom size

I do and I have created a "custom size" also and could not get it to recognize the size.

you have tried the "Arch E1" size?  thats different from "Arch E" of course.

HP Recommended

Yes, I have tried both sizes. In fact I have tried to print it in several sizes, but no luck. I find it strange that I could do it once with no problem. I see where there is a new printer driver so I'm going to update that then try again.
