HP Recommended

I want this printer to feel pain. I am having such a hard time getting it to work. I've downloaded all the proprietary software and funny enough, the one that is meant to manage the printer DOESN'T EVEN KNOW IT'S THERE. I got it working this time last year, and after trying to use the multisheet tray instead of the roll that I usually use everything has started on fire and the best I can get are bastardized versions of the work I put so much time on. I feel like I'm going nuts trying everthing and this being such a huge company and they can't make things work? Are you kidding me? GAH. If there's a trick to this please let me know.
