Print error

I am getting an error message that my document requires it be printed 36 inch and the printer is currently using 24.258.  I'll turn it off and then back on, same message comes but it will say it's currently using 24.441 or another random number.  I've not changed the paper roll, same size i've always used.  I even put in a new roll and get the same message.
