I think a recent Windows update changed something and now when I send a print job to this plotter the job appears in the print queue for a few seconds then disappears and nothing gets printed. If I send the job to another printer it prints out fine. The plotter is connected by ethernet cable and I can ping the port fine and access the printer settings across the network and also the web service. I have run the Microsoft printer diagnostic which finds no problems and also the HP Print and Scan Doctor which finds a Port Mismatch but then claims to fix it, the resulting Test Page never prints. I have tried uninstalling the printer and all the HP software and reinstalling but end up back in the same position.
HP direct print software will print across the network but this will not print from my CAD program or print CAD files. At least this proves that the plotter is working.
So this is a DesignJet 510 Plotter fitted with a JetDirect J7934A network card, my PC is running an up to date version of Windows 10 (64bit).
Anyone know a solution to this?

ArqCastro posted the following information elsewhere on this forum and it worked for me.
"A friend, with the same printer and issue told me that he solved the problem uninstalling the following windows 10 updates:
KB4560960
KB4557957
In my case I only found the second one, I will try to print tomorrow upon arriving to the office, hope this helps everyone with the same printer".
