Print with ni ink

HP Recommended
hp Deskjet 2542
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just reset the software where it did print the test page properly.

When I tried to print from chrome a PDF file paper came out with no ink (blank) ink level is ok. Can you help?

  • When was the last time the printer was working fine?
  • Are you able to printer other documents from your computer?
  • Are you able to make a copy?
  • Have you tried printing other PDF files saved on your computer?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?


For now, I recommend you try using a different browser (Preferred Microsoft Edge) and check whether it resolves the issue.


I would like to inform you that if the PDF is password protected you may face issues printing the PDF.


If you continue to face the issue, follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.
