I recently acquired a plotter for my office. I don't print much but really need to be able to every once in a while.

It prints horizontal lines (ones in line with the printer) straight but diagonal and vertical lines are broken. It is very consistent. I have bought new printer heads, cleaned it, and aligned printerheads. Below is a snip of what is going on. #1 from printer and #2 from autocad.

Thank you for any help.

Have you performed the paper feed calibrations. I do not see a picture attached so I am kinda guessing. You may also need to print at a higher quality setting depending on media.

I have done the paper feed calibration and it is set on best quality.

I can't get my snips to show up on this post....standby!

Thank you for your help.

Here's an update. If I save my Cad drawings as a PDF and use a thumb drive directly in the printer, it prints perfectly. If I print in any format from my computer, I get the hashed lines.
