What happens if you disconnect all cables from the plotter except the power cable and then turn it on? Also are there any messages or codes on the display of the plotter.

I haven't had any cables besides power plugged into it since I've had it, I was just seeing if it worked just to show someone, I plan on selling it and wanted to see if it worked

What shows on the display. Is it blank or does it have anything on it like 2 dots or what?

If you do not get anything on the menu I would think the unit has a power supply or main pca issue and to be honest with the age of this unit I would think it is not worth spending money to get working. This unit was introduced over 23 years ago.
