Printer won't print black from PDF

HP Recommended
HP Designjet Z5400
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I mainly use Autocad and Adobe CC. The printer prints black (and colours) when I print from ACAD Paperspace. When I export this drawing to PDF and try to print the PDF, black won't print, but black text in the title block will. This only happens with PDFs, also the ones provided by customers. Works fine when I print it on a Ricoh laserjet printer (max A3). I tried color sync in printer, but that won't work. When I open the PDF in Photoshop and print directly from PS, everything works fine. If I save the document as Photoshop PDF, same problem.

I asked a technician from HP who had to come over for a hardware problem, but he had no idea. All drivers were up-to-date and the printer was ok.

This has been going on for more than a year, but even HP support on the spot won't solve it.

Anybody an answer ?

Thx

Thanks for the quick response.

I have got Acrobat Pro DC. Everything has been updated. Maybe I should try Acrobat Reader ( Would be funny if the free version works better than the subscribed one ). I'll give it a try.
