This is a "low-end" printer -- the options are indeed more limited than on a more expensive device.

Nonetheless, it may be possible to accomplish what you want.

The Specifications indicate that (although the available standard card size is wrong for your need) the printer supports Index cards.  This kind of Media is a bit heavier than normal paper and might be suitable for printing Labels.

HP Printers - Print Driver Settings Guide (Windows) hints that Creating Custom Paper Sizes might be supported.

If it is available in the Full Feature Software, find the Custom Form setup in Devices and Printers:

Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers >

Left-Click on your Printer one time to highlight >

Left-Click Print Server properties

Create the new Custom Paper Size form from a "standard" template of the same Media type.

For example, if you want to create a custom form for labels, look for a Media type that is similar.  In the case of the Deskjet 2545, look for Media "Index Card".

Once you have the form created, Restart the computer and log in.

Set the Printing Preferences
Media type (kind of paper):  Index card

Size:  Select your new Paper size form

Source:  Select the tray (do not leave as "Any" or "Automatic")

Even assuming Custom Paper Sizes is supported and that you create the form properly, it is (still) possible that some software / programs won't "see" the custom paper size after it is added.  I do not have a fix for stubborn programs.

In so much that I am aware:

The printing software can see and use custom paper size forms -- Office Word appears to work (recent versions) -- Avery Software works with custom paper size forms.  Adobe Publisher -- maybe not.
