Re: L25500 ink pressure issues

HP Recommended
I seem to be having the same issue with my #3 black ink. It keeps fouling #3 black on the printhead and when I remove it it sputters out ink from the FI tower sometimes a little bubbly but I don’t believe there is actually air in the line I think it’s just sputtering under pressure. Did you replace the FI tower or what was the main issue for you?

I found the rubber coupler nozzle seals to be leaking. Letting in air and eventually leaking ink. I am referring to the seals that connect the nozzles to the ink tubes. Also found some nozzles to be leaking where the printhead is inserted.

I tried new coupler seals and new nozzles, but I think the issue is more with the plastic carriage pieces holding it all together. I was able to stop the leaks by shimming the couplers with modified washers that create a little tighter seal.

Hope this helps you find the problem.
