Replacement incomplete with a new printhead - status 16

Designjet T1500
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)



My customer just replace the printhead, because the plotter was asking for it.


He did, but it will not do the installation to the end. It start preparing the printing system, it show the 6 or 8 % for a while, then goes to 100 %, then restart to 6 or 8 %, then again 100 %, then the message appear that it cound't install the printhead (replacement incomplete) and ask to try again.


I have look for the printhead status, on the web server and the status is "16" (means the prinhead high temparature).


The customer will replace it again, but could it be because of the carriage contacts or the trailing cable?
