Replacing the black cartridge of HP Designjet T520

HP Designjet T520
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The black color ink already end, and i replaced by new HP one, after replacing it the printer gave me error message as " ONE OR MORE CARTIRIGAES APPEAR TO BE DAMAGED (K). REMOVE THEM AND REPLACE WITH NEW CARTIRIGES"

i purchase new one because i thought it is damaged and install again but still same error message.

please help my job is stuck up.

If Myself stuck with this problem &  would swap the bottom part & see any chance..

 

So many years, I frequently do it with my #70, #82, #10 inks.....   always work one or other .

hello,

 

if you purchase ink from HP partner you can claim it under warranty

 

 

The printhead is the main component of ink system on this model, so question is: is your printhead in warranty?

 

this could lead to this type of messages

 

another question, do you have ink in the other cartridges?

 

what happen if you put the old cartridge?

Hi, Thanks for contact with HP Support Forum.

 

This problem will raise from Printheads.

 

 

 

Please follow the below instruction:

 

1. Remove the ink cartridges and look for any leak

 

2. Remove the printhead and reboot the printer If you dont get the message,

 

3.Clean the electrical contacts on the printhead and the printer, then install the printhead and look for any message If you get no messages, install the ink cartridges.

 

If you get any messages, please replace the new printhead.

 

If it is under warranty, please claim to HP (Through HP Partner) and get new one. If it is not covered under warranty please buy from: Printhead Purchase.
