I wish I had a good answer for you! I have been through this twice. Both times I tried everything mentioned above and none of it seemed to fix the problem. Came in one day and the error was gone both times. No idea what fixed it or how to keep it from coming back again.

I have only had my plotter a couple of months so it was still under warranty. I had a tech come in twice. The first time he replaced the carriage PCA but the error came back the very next day. He came back the following week to change the engine PCA but also changed the carriage PCA and printhead. Haven't had any more problems since. Hopefully the fix sticks!
