Scan A3 drawings

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I  ought the HP OfficeJetPro7740 specifially to be able to scan and send A3 drawings, but donot seem to be able. The resulting scan reduces the area of the drawing.

If This is your printer then:

The Specifications indicate the Print size supports A3.

The maximum scan size is a bit less than the 11x17 inch output for both the flatbed scan and scan from ADF.

Maximum flatbed scan size
297 x 432 mm (11.69 x 17 in)
Maximum ADF one-sided scan size
216 x 356 mm (8.5 x 14 in)
Maximum ADF two-sided (duplex) scan size
210 x 297 mm (8.27 x 11.69 in)

Make sure the scan size is set to "Entire Scan Area" in your scan software.
