Deskjet t1200

Hello,

i have a damaged formatter board on a deskjet t1200 printer which needs replacement.

  1. Does the formatter board come with HDD or are both sold separately?
  2. if i get the formatter board, can i buy an off the shelf HDD and load the firmware on it? if yes, please send me the steps or youtube video on how to do that.
  3. A link to buying the complete formatter board + HDD will be very much appreciated

thanks.

Hi,

Here are the part numbers

CH538-67004 Formatter board - Does NOT include the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) - For the Designjet T1200 printer series

CH538-67078 SATA Hard Disk Drive (HDD) - Includes firmware - For use with Designjet printers

Formatter and HDD were never sold together, always separate.

Make sure you get those parts new, otherwize  you can change the printer identity and will not be able to recover from that

Best regards
