T1200
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Per the instructions on the HP firmware page to install these two files in this order, I successfully updated to TT6-TTAJ_08_02_03.3.90

however the second file - TT6-TTAJ_08_04_00.1 has failed multiple times. I tried both the webpage and the HP utility and loading the file from a USB all 3 give the same result, update failed. The file size is different than what HP says it should be if that matters.

How different was the size? I downloaded to test and it shows as a 456mb file or 479,047,680 bytes

I was mistaken, thank you for checking on that,  I have the same result as you, but still am not able to update the firmware.

You may need to run a disk integrity check before you try again. You can also try by inserting the stick into the formatter with the device powered off and then starting it.

Thanks for your response. I tried power off -usb in -power on, it gave error "file not valid" I am using a fat32 formatted drive and the firmware file is the only file on the drive. I will look into disk integrity you mentioned.

Still trying to solve this. I am wondering if I am able to roll back to a previous version of the firmware then try again the two-step process that is currently on the HP website? I have looked and have not been able to find anything older than the two versions that are on the website currently.
