T2300 not printing landscape of ARCH D

HP Recommended
T2300
macOS 10.12 Sierra

Hello Web,

I am trying to print a landscape verision of ARCH D (24x36). Unfortunately the printer keeps automatically flipping it back. So I'm trying to get it to print 36 x 24 without making a custom size. When I print a document with the custom setting it cuts off a few pixel widths, the document is exactly 36 x 24. I believe the custom size is what is confusing the printer so I'm trying to use the preset ARCH D to fix it. People in the office with windows computers can use PLOT to open it and it has the setting of ARCH D landscape and it prints fine. I've tried it from preview and acrobat. I can't shrink the document down because it has a scale and needs to be printed at 100%. Documents that are slightly smaller print fine. I am not creating the documents so I can't make them smaller.

Any help would be awesome, thanks!

The HP T series plotters have a default 5mm margin around the borders, this could be the issue.

Try borderless printing if you can, or when you create the file keep that 5mm margin in mind.

I hope that helps,

Roy K

When I created my custome landscape of ARCH D (36x24) I made it with no margins. I removed them. Unfortunately I am not creating the files, I can't tell every designer to keep that in mind when, in fact, it prints fine from their computers. I believe it's an OS operating system not meshing well with the printer. It prints fine from PC but not from Mac.
