T620 - Ghost empty cartridge

HP Recommended
T620
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Plotter HP T620, upgraded drivers.

Perfectly working until yesterday.

Cyan Cartridge Ends (Regularly).  Replacement with Cyan cartridge (original obviously and not expired): I insert the cartridge and press "ok", The printer loads and then reports "empty cartridge, replace it". Repeated several times. Tried to load to printer off. Clean contact pins...

Purchased another new one and tested cartridge. Same result.

I tried, and tried again but nothing: "empty cartridge".

What could be the problem?

Thanks for the answers.

Just a hunch but you may have an issue with the ink supply station that contains the cartridge. There is usually a post that presses against the ink bag in the cartridge and if that piece is broken or not working then the printer will think the cartridge is empty because there is no pressure back. Suggest you do a google search for the service manual and download it and then do the service tests thru the special startup menu that can test the ink service station and let you know if it has an issue.

I try to remove all the cartridges and restart to see physically whether the "pressure piston" pressing on the cartridge's bag.

The piston rises and falls down just like the others.

I've also tried to "widen" the cartridge hol to "help" the piston enter, but nothing...
