T795 give the dreaded 79.2:04 error at the 26% loading point.

Front power button does nothing at any time

Display works, touch panel works too.

Formatter board shows 1flash, 2 & 3 On.

I have replaced the Interconnect PCA, no change

Tried firmware reload. Hangs at 20%...forever.

Not sure where to go next. Maybe the HDD is bad and causing the system to hang? Formatter bad? I had a printer tech come out and say the "Electric Module PIU" is bad. I dont even see this in the service module so Im not sure this is legit.

Any advice on where to go next is much appreciated!

I would try the following:

1. In another thread, a user claimed that cleaning the encoder strip resolved his problem. This is the plastic strip with a grid printed on it that allows the system to track where the carriage is. I am not convinced on this one but include it because someone here says it fixed their issue and it is a virtually no-cost fix. Clean the encoder strip with a lint free cloth that is dampened with 2 drops of isopropal alcohol and water. Clean strip until clean. Be gentle you just want to remove any ink on the strip  that can interfere with the optical sensors and not remove the grid of black lines printed on the strip.

2. Remove all supplies, printheads and cartridges and start the machine. Install supplies when prompted for them.

Thanks for the reply. I can check it but the printer is only 26% into the init phase. This is basically where its booting up. Around the 85% mark is where its running through all ink ,paper and head checks. I'll let you know what i find out.
