The colors of the printer is not good.

HP Recommended
Hp designjet t520

When i print the colors gets in a different shade comapred to the computer, i alsow get lines over the paper.

i tried to do the ;cleaning head thing and it got better but not good.

when i google it they sad that the best was to wait for 6 hours after the first try and then try to reedo the process.

if this was not working it may be the colors that were bad or something.


Do you guys have any other suggestion?

Im in bad need of getting this printer started.

If the colors of your print do not match what you see on screen, maybe you would like to check:


Try to change color managmente setting on drivers preferences: application manage colors instead of printer manage colors.


check print quality setting on the driver : best, normal, fast ?

for the lines over the printout, you can try to do a paper advanced calibration. before that, ensure you selecting the correct media from front panel.

Hello ,


This print quality Issue may be due to multiple causes. Few of the causes are listed below


1. Bad/over used print head

2. Wrong media type selected.

3. Color calibration.

4. Paper advance calibration

5. Unsupported media


I suggest to try troubleshooting steps provided in below documents.


Aslo please select paper type as HP Coated both on printer and driver, then print in best mode. check if issue is resolved.


If issue persists, I request you to contact HP support for more help.
