Hi there,
Our Designjet Z2100 recently stopped initializing. After a lot of research we determined that a new formatter was needed. A new formatter was purchased. The new formatter looks a little different than the original and the HDD is also different. We were told the original formatter model is discontinued. The new formatter was installed but we keep receiving error 59.2:00 after initialization. After research we have been instructed to upload older firmware to it. I have access to older firmware but I cannot upload it. The computer is not recognizing the printer therefore I cannot use a HP utility tool and the printer does not have a standard USB drive that we can use to upload firmware via a usb stick. Does anyone know another way that we can upload the firmware to the formatter HDD?
PS the old formatter that went bad is a HP 50x15LF. The new formatter is HP 50X15CR

Do you have the part number you ordered, for example Q6718-xxxxx
Also what is the exact model number of the plotter you have and the size.
