HP DesignJet Z6800 60-in Photo Production Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My company just recently bought a HP Designjet Z6800 from a print company locally. They said everything worked fine on it and that they were not using it anymore due to updating to a new printer when they moved to a new facility. The morning of the pickup they plugged it in and set it up only to find that for some reason the automatic cutting was not working. When you press the feed and cut button, the paper feeds about 2 inches but the cutting wheel and carriage do not move. It prints fine and the carriage moves no problem when printing but when it is done, it does not automatically cut nor can you press the button to cut it because nothing happens.

I verified that the Cut setting is turned on and the FF & Cut setting is turned on. It still does not cut though. Like I said, the carriage doesn't even try to move when you press the button but it does move fine when it is printing. The material is HP Everyday Polypropylene paper.

Thank you
