Previously owned Z3200 printer and connected to my iMacPro via USB port on computer to Z3200 that had a different type of connection. Now I see that Z9 has a communication port. What is this for? Can I use a USB cord with USB connections on both ends to connect computer to the USB port at the display panel on the printer? The cord I previously used was just less than 9' and I had no problems with computer communicating with the printer. If I am to use the communication port on the printer what type of cord do I need that has one end that is USB to connect to my computer.Thank you

These printers are designed to print from network only. You will need to connect the plotter to a network connection. The USB ports on this device are for printing directly from a USB stick or for performing maintenance like firmware updates.
