design jet 510 windows 10 and civil3d 2020

HP Recommended
design jet 510
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

since up grading to windoes 10 my design jet 510 wont plot from civil3d 2020.  I can export and plot a .pdf, I can print from windows programs, word, excel, adobe, etc but not civil 3d 2020.  As far as I can see on the hP web site this large format printer is not supported.  I have tried in civil3d installing several different models of design jet some print but none in color.  The printer has an ethernet card added, not usb or lpt

Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

Designjet 510 are not suported on Win10.

I can see one solution where you get a machine(typically a laptop) to work solely with your machine that has Win7,Xp you name it.

On the other hand you can try purchasing a fortamer board that has an USB connection. Then again it might still not be supported by Win10.

From what I found, the HP DJ 510 printer is supported by Windows 10. You might also try updating the firmware to the latest release if it's not already. Please check the following links:
