have a designjet z6100 doesnt finish booting get black screen with 97:04 and lockes up

Please try to unload the paper and try to boot the printer and check whether the issue gets resolved

The error is related to Paper Advance .

If the issue persists there might be an issue with Sensor

The 79:04 error is related to firmware

Try to remove all the communication cables and try to reboot the unit

if the issue persists check the trailing cable on the printer

usually 79:04 error is related to 3 major things

1 : software error - Print jobs

2 : Firmware

3 : hardware components but very rare
