Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My printer does not print any document even though the black and colour cartridges are full. The alignment has failed as it prints only some of the lines. Cleaning printheads and realignment don't help

@Workwell, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Try making a standalone Black and Color copy and check if that works. 

 

Let us try these steps to resolve this issue: 

 

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

 

Print a Printer Status Report

  1. On the printer control panel, hold down the Power button, and then press the Cancel button  once.

  2. Release the Power button. The Printer Status Report prints.

Also, perform step 5 and 12 mentioned in this document.
