printer stopped working

Hello:

 

I attempted to copy something today and suddenly got the message: "Scanner Failure  Unable to scan, print or fax"

 

What should I do?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to copy and getting an error message.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

 

  • When was the last time the printer was working fine?
  • What is the operating system you are using?
  • How is the printer connected to the computer?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

NOTE: The steps are for scanning issue however, these steps will help to fix the issue you are facing.
