Hi I’ve turned my printer on and I keep getting the same image on the lcd display and also my computer can not detect the printer to update the firmware any suggestions would be appreciated

The error you are getting indicates a problem with a printhead. Has the printer ever worked on Windows 10?

An update to the problem 

I connected the printer to a older pc running on windows xp using a c32-db25 parallel cable and I managed to update the firmware on the printer and no longer shows the x on the display.
