HP DesignJet T520 24" printer

HP Recommended
Hp DesigneJet T520 24in. HPGL2
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Printer starts printing, than stops and unwinds the roll. Stops and then says,  Error in roll unload: Roll cannot be automatically unloaded. Please rewind the roll manually in order to resolve the problem.  It does it everytime. I reset it and it just does it again.

Help, very frustrating.

Hi,

PLease check spindle gear is broken or not and check also media rewinder gear. Sometimes that problem raise missmatch for loading paper spindle with rewinder gear for some gap.

If all are ok, please perform paper loading sensor from diagnosis mode.

Hello,
we have the same issue from 4 months till now. (I think that the Service HP in Catania <Italy> not understand nothing).
So, with any paper size in manual mode all works fine. only in automatic mode isn't working.

I have done the OOP test and the sensor is fine.
Can you suggest something else?

Thank you in advance.
