Hi,

That means that the HardDrive is not beed recognized by the printer.

Try reseating the cables with the pinter off and then turn it back on.

If you keep having the same problem the best will be to replace the hardrive.

Make sure you install a new HDD. Here is the part number

Q6651-60068Hard disk drive assembly - Includes holder and screws

Best regards

Hi

There is a 99% a problem with the HDD

If that does not fix it, could be a problem with the Main PCA or the PSU.

Before you continue replacing parts, make sure you have a working HDD.

Best regards

Our plotter isn't getting that far. Here is the link to the video. https://youtu.be/uEYcDv_c_8sTroubleshooting steps already taken are in the desciption and I will repeat here:

  1. This is what I've done so far: Notes on desk
  2. Removed back covers and blew out all the dust & lint
  3. Verified Power supply fans are spinning
  4. CPU fan does not spin (Thermostat?)
  5. Removed and reset all connectors on main board
  6. Removed and reset memory chips
  7. Removed and checked main board battery (3.1V)
  8. Reset HDD connectors
  9. Tried using my USB Bridge adapter but would not pass data from old hard drive.
  10. Picked up another HDD but have not tested.
Any other thoughts?
