HP Designjet z6100 error 79.04 on Paper Load

HP Recommended
HP Designjet z6100
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Unless there is a barcode printed at the leading edge of my paper, I get the 79.04 er error. Is there I file I can download that has a barcodes available for all the various paper types? Appreciate any help.

Hello,

the main issue was the 79:04 or the bard code of the edge?

because I remember 79:04 was the line sensor so (is the maintenance cartridge replaced)

and the bar code you can disable it from roll loading options (it included paper information and roll length)

I am an HP Employee.

79.04 is an assertion error related to firmware.

Odd that you are getting it when the printer is trying to read the bar codes. Is the line sensor calibrated?

As O mentioned you can turn off printing paper info and it will no longer look for the bar code.

To disable the Printing paper info option, select the paper icon in the printer's front panel, and then select Paper handling options > Disable Printing paperinfo.

If I disabled paper Printing info, it will not try and scan barcode during paperload process? Because when there is no barcode 79.04 appears. And print paper info is enabled currently
