HP OfficeJet 7740
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After countless attempts trying to aligning  and cleaning the printhead, I have no luck in removing a 1 cm line with poor quality on my photo print. The photo looks really great beside this 1 cm thick line with bad pixels. The line is vertical and goes all the way from the top to the bottom.

I am using all original HP products. HP ink and HP Everyday Photo Paper 10x15 cm.

And I have the newest drivers installed on PC and I have updated firmware on the printer itself.

The printer is only 2 days old with new ink cartridges.

Please help me out.

Does this line appear on everything you try to print?

I don't work for HP....I just repair their printers.

No actually  it is only on the photo paper 10x15 cm. I tried printing on regular A4 paper with out any issues.

But the idea with this printer was to be able to print small photos and have the choice to make wide format on A4 and A3 paper.

I have not tried printing on bigger size photo paper yet.
