Designjet T1100
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

... just bought "new" cartridges online for my T1100 plotter. Exp. date is 2016!!! 😞

Is it dangerous to use them?

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Regards!

It's is possible that printheads will get clogged and the result will be poor print quality.

I am not sure will you printer model even accept expired ink cartridge, some printer models will not even work with expired ink ( to protect printheads and ink system) or you will be prompted to press OK every time expired ink message appears on the screen.

If the printer will accept expired ink you might have some print quality issues when the liquid ink gets from cartridge to the printhead.

Thank you!

...will print heads get clogged or something? This is my primary concern. Print quality is not so important for CAD plots!

Expired cartridges are in original package!

...I'll throw them in garbage.....:-(

My printer works with expired ink cartridges...that's been already tested, but I don't want to corrupt new print heads!!!!

Regards!
