Hello,

I just got an old scavanged for part DJ5500 for our makerspace. I started to rebuild it and it is now nearly back to operation but one the black 83 ink receptacle for the printhead cleaning is mismatched with an 81. So the plotter doesn't accept to start. These receptacles are hard coded on 5 bits (plastic tabs present or not) and this is what give the plotter the identity of each receptacle. So not difficult to cheat if you know the code. but I don't, so before starting all combinations, does somebody having a working 5500 with UV ink is OK to send me a picture of the back of the black receptacle ? So I can change the coding and make this wonderful beast work again !

Thanks,

Marc
