T120
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My T120 won't cut- automatically or "form feed and cut."  I have cleaned the encoder strip w/ damp cloth (per another thread) but that didn't fix it. From what I can observe, the print carriage can't engage the cutter assy from where it is parked.  It seems the print carriage doesn't park the cutter far enough to the left for the cutter lever to engage it as it goes left.  When I manually slide the cutter all the way to the left until it stops, then the print head engages it and cuts properly.  The current "parking place" doesn't allow the cutter lever to be pressed down so it will engage.  To my mind the printer carriage should leave the cutter assy all the way to the left and it doesn't.

Am i viewing the cut procedure correctly?

How do I fix it?
