Hi. We have a Pagewide Pro MFP 777z which is stuck at the initialisation stage. The message is "A new Printhead Assembly has been detected and must be set up by a service technician..". Have tried hard resetting, power draining, checking that all packaging has been removed. I can see similar issues with other models online but cannot see a fix for this issue. Any help would be appreciated!

Is this a new printer? Has it ever worked? New printhead detected would indicate that the print assembly has never been initialized properly. You will likely need to contac HP Technical Support to get directions on bypassing this, if possible.
