D Hook, what advantages does the 5500 driver have over the 1050 c driver.  The whole thing is so touchy that I am afraid to mess with it.  But what I can print is very limited.  It totally crashes my CAD program, Vectorrworks, and they said they can't waste their time making an old printer works that is not even supported by HP.  For the CAD files I print to PDF, which is also what I send to the print service so it is not that much of a problem.

For what it is worth and this is old news and I don't know that it addresses printing jpg files, in Win 10 I just install the old Win XP or Vista 64 bit driver:

and AGAIN for other printing problems say in Autocad 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 (do all these versions exist? not sure)--you can't print to for example a Designjet 500, 800, 1050C, 1055CM, 5000, 5500, etc., I have followed the links on "the plotter princess"'s website--I think it addresses Win 8 and/or 8.1 but I think the same may apply to Win 10:
