Hi 

for those out there trying to figure out the firmware update on the B series phones.  Well its not going to work the automatic way.. thats for sure 

 

use the manual method, go to lens.poly.com, either start registering all your handsets there or go to Manage in Lens, scroll down to software versions and search for. edge bX ( where x = 20 or 30 ) download the file 

 

lookup the ip address of the phone on the display, press home , scroll to product info 

browse with your web browser to the phone, enter user name and password ( login admin, password admin if this is your first)

 

go to firmware update under system management , select the file upload it and submit.. wait for it and ready

 

reason for the auto update not working is that the OBI website is gone..

Resolution: Please check => here <= and you need Poly Lens now to get access to Poly Software.

 

Specifically >here<

 

All Poly or Obi phones look for a provisioning server and can download the firmware from there.

 

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.
