Hello,
At my office we have 2 CX600 Lync phones in small conference rooms that house about 5-7 people tops. I have had multiple complaints that too much "background noise" is causing issues in call quality from those on the other end. It would appear from threads like this one - Link - that the phones have a mix of an oversensitive microphone and a buggy noise cancellation feature.
is there any way to disable noise cancellation? Also these phones are tied to conference room accounts and don't have computers hooked up to them, which seems to bar me from accessing any advanced menus.
Any help at all would be much appreciated!

Hello RFLogan,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
The CX500 and CX600 is not really a conference phone, the CX3000 is our dedicated conference unit for LYNC.
I am not aware of any hidden / advanced menus that could change the phones microphone and I am most certainly not aware of any bugs in the noise cancellation.
