Our environment is running Lync 2013 with BToE 2.1.0 installed.  We have a mixture of VVX 500 and 600 phones running 5.0.2.2185.  We've recently noticed that most users do not have a Conference (Confrnc) softkey available during a call, but some do.  We narrowed it down to phones connected with BToE Active do not have the softkey, but if BToE is deactivated the option exists and functions correctly.  If I have an active call and then start BToE, the button exists, but does not work.

 

Anybody have ideas as to why this would be?

According to the documentation, when paired with BToE to Lync, the Confrnc feature is not available.  You have to use the Lync client for conferencing.
