01/08/2024 voipt2.polycom.com has been decommissioned. Please use Poly Lens to download firmware and set up a local provisioning server
Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I set up my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <= and you need Poly Lens now to get access to Poly Software.
I have pretty much the same behaviour as mentioned in => here <=
After downgrading from 4.0.x to 3.3.2 using the Downgrader 4.5.0B as per instructions on the EA64731 page 8, I tried to downgrade to a 3.2.7. I put the file on my server and always got the "incompatible image" message on screen.
Tried also to downgrade the BootROM to 4.3.1 always got the "incompatible image" when the phone tries to load the 3.2.7 firmware. I used the <removed> provisioning URL for the phone.
At the moment, I have the phone with BootROM 4.3.1.0440 and Firmware 3.3.2.0413.
Attached the boot.log at my provisioning server.
What else should I be looking at?

Hello Melcon,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Based on your post and this post => here <= I tested this in my Lab and successfully downgraded a SoundStation Duo from UCS 4.0.3 Rev F to UCS 3.3.2 and then to SIP 3.2.7 and back up to UCS 4.1.0 Rev B without any issues.
If you follow above FAQ link and still struggle please work with your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support as described in my signature.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
