Folks,


I manage a Mitel 3300ICP which I have managed to configure my SSIP5000 as a SIP phone. I was also provided with an HDX6000 bundle to setup for our video-conferencing solution.

 

However, I have been reading the data sheets and all of them reference that the HDX6000 will only integrate with a SSIP7000 and not a SSIP5000. Am I out of luck or is it still possible?

 

Keep up the good work here folks, all I've been reading has helped me with the few issues I had so far; here's hoping this isn't the show-stopper!

Hello PoIB,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The SSIP7000 can be used as an additional microphone and also control the HDX via a specific connection.

 

The SSIP5000 does not have this connection and can only be used as a stand alone SIP phone.

Had you successfully register SSip5000 to Mitel controller ? what's the software version of Mitel MCD on your site.? because i met problem when i try to register a ssip 5000 to my Mitel controller..thanks.
