I have a customer with over 200 VVX410. They are concerned that the phones are not connecting to the network at full gig speed and the PC behind the phone are not also . I need a way to check the Polycom connection link speed, also  if there is a PC connected behind a polycom and at what speed is that link . I need to be able to check this in a scriptable way .Maybe using a push , polling method or diagnostic . 

 

Has anyone tried this or know how ??

Hello mharvey,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Read First"

We did have some speed issues if a Gigabit phone was connected to a 100Meg port and the PC was Gig as well but we fixed this and documented this in the release notes.

 

You can look through the logs for:

 

000008.445|so   |3|01|Link status is Net up Speed 100 full Duplex, PC down.
