Solved: Polycom Trio 8800 Microsoft Teams Hybrid Line Registration - HP Support Community

If I understand correctly the Polycom Trio 8800 with Software Version 5.9.0 AD does not support Hybrid Line Registration with the Microsoft Teams Profile, only with the Skype for Business Profile.
Is this correct?
Will it be possible in the future to have Microsoft Teams and a SIP line at the same time?

At present, once the Trio is in Teams mode, this is mutual exclusive.

Aug 09, 2016 Question:Why can Poly not discuss future software Versions within the Community?

Explanation:Poly, as a US-based company, cannot share any future release dates or new features due to the requirement of a non-disclosure agreement / NDA prior to this. Via the medium of a community forum, we are unable to do this.
