Jan 25, 2016 Question:How many Lines can I register using Polycom phones with Lync Server / Skype for Business server ?

Resolution: You can register only one line when Lync is set as the base profile on the phone.

Hi,

So just confirm please. Can I use the Trio 8800 to register to Cisco CUCM and in parallel to sign in to Skype 4B? If yes, should I set the base profile to Lync in this case?

Hello Robo242,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The only supported configuration if using LYNC / Skype is to set the phone to Base Profile LYNC. If set into this mode only one line can be registered.

 

If set to Generic Base Profile LYNC / Skype is not supported and multiple SIP lines can be registered.

 

There is currently no hybrid support.
