I have a set of phones (IP 450) that were previously set up on another phone system. I'm now trying to set them up on Vonage, but I'm having an issue setting up the provisioning server because the previous config disabled the web interface. I've tried factory resetting the line and device settings, but still can't access the web interface, even though I can ping it just fine. Then, I downloaded the 4.0.7 Split package and have the phone grabbing those contents from an FTP server. However, the phone does hit the FTP server and grabs files, but it eventually says the application is not compatible with the phone and loop reboots from there. Am I missing a critical step in resetting this device back to a true out-of-the-box configuration? I was really hoping factory resetting would re-enable the web interface so I could just simply put in the Vonage provisioning server and be done. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙂
Thanks!

Hello @sdbyrd,
Actually you most likely used a software prior to UC Software 4.0.x so you need the Updater / Upgrader together with a UC Software.

Hello @sdbyrd,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
First of all the phones latest compatible software would be 4.0.13 so please download this.
The only other reason for the phone to display this message would be the unit being a development signed unit issued by Polycom for testing purposes.
These units ought to be returned to Polycom so please post a MAC address of such unit so we can check this internally as they are Polycom property. They cannot be used in the field.
