We have set up a BLF list for parking and retireving parked calls. When there is an active call we can transfer the call to the park and retrieve the parked call. However, if the button is clicked twice too fast, the phone sends an Invite with replaces to pick up the parked call and then sends a BYE on the picked up call.

Hello Yaakov1,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
The above is also stated in the "Read First"
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
It also helps if you tell us what phone model you are utilising.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards

Hello Yaakov1,
I am unsure how we are supposed to stop your user to press the button twice.

Steffen,
The reason that the users press the button twice is because they expect the phone to respond faster. That does require user training so that they should slow down.
However, the phone behavior is unusual for the scenario.
1) The phone is idle
2) They push the button to retirve the call causing an Invite with replaces
3) They push the button again causing the phone to send a BYE message and an Invite to the BLF.
If the phone connected the call, the 2nd button push should cause a transfer back to the BLF(not send a BYE). This would allow us to handle the situation in the server.

Hello Yaakov1,
If this is a performance issue we would need to see some configuration and logs so I suggest you open a Service Ticket. If you are out of warranty you need to Pay per incident aka PPI.
Please post your MAC address so I can lookup who would support you.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
